Der Messias (The Messiah)

Patrick Barlow retells the Christmas story with sharp British humor and human warmth – without losing reverence. Alex Teubner and Tobias Ostermeier have performed this comedy play in Regensburg for over 14 years, reviving it after a hiatus: Herod as a grumpy Franconian, an esoteric Archangel Gabriel, and all scenes of the Nativity delivered in a fireworks display of gags.

A annual highlight is the Hop Weeks at Südtiroler Stuben in Lauf a.d. Pegnitz: a 5-course menu with tailored beer pairings – informative, relaxed, and approachable.
